Sorry that I have not updated Mirandocity.com lately, but with the holiday season and end of year activities at work and school, I have not had much time on the computer. Starting in early January the reunion plans will start to come together and I will keep everyone informed on the reunion page of this website. Invitations to the reunion should start going out by mail and email in February and will need to be returned by late March or early April. Will have exact dates in January. So until January, have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!! |

Not much going on lately. We did have a problem over the weekend and lost all the guest book entries. Anyone who had posted something to the guest book, please feel free to repost. Also did away with the discussion page and replaced it with a page called Comments. Please feel free to comment on anything of interest to the viewers of these pages. Example--comments about upcoming reunion, old Mirando City Stories, Events, etc. Check it out and leave your comments....... |

Added a new guest book, reunion feedback page and discussion page. Check them out, they are on my server and you will not have to put up with all the pop-up advertisers that were on the other site I have been using. |

We had a big thunderstorm roll through Mirando City last night and knocked out the power for 5 hrs. So the website has been down. Sorry for the inconvenience, but we sure enjoyed the rain....... |

Changed my server software, so Mirandocity.com was down for a couple of hours, but hopefully we will now have more up-time. We are now powered by Pi3Web Server...... |

Added a mail list so that if you sign up, you will be notified anytime there is a change made on the Mirandocity.com site. Read about it on the User Services>Mailing List Page. People listed on the email directory page will be notified by email about the new list and given the option to join. Everyone else needs to go to the mailing list page and sign up. Addresses will be kept private and used only to contact members about website updates. |

Posted third article on the Mirando City School system on the current school news page. Also on the same page is a link to the state report that started the latest problems. Also added pictures of early oilfield drilling on the Oil & Gas Page under History. |

Well, I have just about everything back to normal. Did have to move the Guestbook page to a off-site provider. It still works the same way as the old one, but maybe I will have fewer problems. |

Having big problems with the website. Someone hacked into the site and did some damage to several of the pages. I had to remove the guestbook and discussion page. I will try to get at least the guestbook back up and running this weekend. |

I have been playing around with a webcam, so I added a Mirando City WeatherCam page. It has my webcam that looks out over Mirando City and weather information about the Mirando City area. Check it out. |

Well I had a computer crash and lost my hard drive where this site was located. I had most of the website backed up, so most of the site was saved. I did however lose the entries in the guestbook and the discussion section of this website. Hope I have all the bugs worked out and the site should run faster now. Most of the addresses in the guestbook were added to the email directory last week, but if yours was not added, let me know and I will add it. |

Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season. Have not updated the site in a while, but now that the holidays are over, maybe I will have more time for Mirandocity.com. Updated the email directory today. Looks like the word is spreading about this site, so keep up the good work. The more the merrier......... |
