Dear Candidate:
The Quad City Community Action Program kindly requests your presence at the “Meet the Candidate Event 2008” scheduled for Friday, February 15, 2008 beginning at 7:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m at the Quad City Community Center located in Mirando City, Texas. In addition your support by way of a $25.00 contribution to cover certain costs of this and future events is also requested.
For informational purposes please note that by way of an established order, the forum will be open to all candidates to briefly give insight of their plans for the communities they wish to represent. Most importantly consider your speech on the following: public safety, education, health, economy and how your representation in office will help to improve and or benefit life for rural communities and the citizenry in general. A copy of the QCCAP code of conduct is also attached to this letter. We request your help by taking note of this. All candidates are invited to set up for the event at an earlier time (on or about 5:00 p.m.) and to keep all campaign literature, poster boards, etc., to a respectable size and location. (No Overcrowding) To accept this invitation, we kindly request a written confirmation by Friday, February 08, 2008 to the above fax numbers.
